Girls Basketball Pick up Conference Win

Last night the Varsity team lost a hard fought game to 4A #11 Westfield 55-44.  The Lady Tigers put up a good defensive battle but poor free throw shooting and foul trouble contributed to the loss.    Katie Curtis led the Lady Tigers with 18 points. Tonight, the LHS Tigersharks defeated the West Lafayette Red Devils in a girls swimming meet by a score of 121-65.  The boys fell 58-128.  The teams combined for 36 lifetime bests on the night, led by swimmer of the meet Kailyn Stogsdill and Garrett Goff who set varsity records in individual events.   Taking first

Boys Basketball Starts with a Victory

Saturday night opened the men’s basketball season with a 91 – 37 tiger victory over North Putnam.  Paced by seniors Caleb Brannon and Cord Barricklow with 29, and 23 points respectively, the team got out to an early lead and never looked back.
