Lebanon Athletics is excited to announce Matt Runyon as the new Head Coach of the Lebanon High School Boys Track & Field program! Coach Runyon enters his first season leading the Tigers after spending the past two seasons as Lebanon’s Throwing Coach. He brings a wealth of coaching experience to the position, along with a strong connection to Lebanon athletics and our student-athletes. A 2017 graduate of Brownsburg High School and 2022 graduate of Wabash College, Coach Runyon has coached at multiple levels and in multiple sports. Prior to joining Lebanon, he spent one year at Brownsburg High School as an Assistant Offensive Line Coach and two years at Tri-West High School as the Defensive Line Coach. While at Brownsburg, he also served as the Head Track & Field Coach at Brownsburg West Middle School. Coach Runyon currently serves the Lebanon Tigers as the Defensive Line Coach and Special Teams Coordinator for Lebanon Football and works as a Special Education Teacher at Lebanon High School. Outside of school, Coach Runyon and his wife, Anna, reside in Brownsburg with their two dogs, Sadie and Cooper. We are excited to have Coach Runyon take the reins of our Boys Track & Field program and look forward to the continued growth and success of Lebanon Track & Field under his leadership.
