LHS Superintendent Honors LHS Wrestlers at LCSC School Board Meeting

Congratulations to LHS Wrestlers Thomas Thompson, Niko Trepcos and Claira Gramlin. At the Lebanon School Board Meeting Tuesday Night, LCSC Superintendent honored these three LHS wrestlers for their outstanding wrestling achievements, positive characteristic traits and sportsmanship. Thomas Thompson was LHS only wrestler to qualify for Semi-State. At the 175 lbs. he was named All Sagamore Conference 1st Team going undefeated in the Conference Meet. He placed second place in Sectional Competition. and third place in Regionals. Niko Trepcos at 144 lbs. He was named All 1st Team Sagamore Conference going undefeated in the Conference Meet. Unfortunately, he was not able to wrestle in sectionals due to a situation outside of his control. He handled himself with grace and class. True testament to his positive characteristic traits and a exceptional role model. Niko is a three Sport Athlete, participating in Football, Wrestling, Track & Field. He is the only LHS student athlete to be honored by the Lebanon Sports Booster Association as athlete of a month in all three sports. He is also LHS IHSAA Eugene Cato Scholarship Nominee. Claira Gramlin: is one of the most accomplished wrestlers in Lebanon High School history. At 190 lbs. she finished State Runner-Up. Claira completed her senior year with, and an over-all season record of 26-5. On December 6th, during the Lady Tigers’ trip to Monrovia, Claira captured her 100th career victory, setting a new Lebanon High School record for career wins by a female wrestler. Claira has overall extraordinary career record of 109–22. Claira’s consistency and excellence have been evident throughout her four years as a Tiger finishing in the top 6 at the State level in all her 4 years. She has represented Lebanon High School with pride, determination, and competitive spirit. Her name is now etched among the greatest wrestlers to ever wear the black and gold.
