LHS Welcomes New Head Softball Coach

Lebanon welcomes Sarah Tribby as the new Head Softball Coach at Lebanon High School! Coach Tribby was approved by at the LCSC School Board meeting Tuesday evening. Coach Tribby is a proud 2019 Lebanon High School graduate and a former member of the 2016 Lebanon State Championship Softball Team, bringing with her a deep connection to our school, our community, and the rich tradition of Tiger Softball. After graduating from LHS, she continued both her academic and athletic career at Manchester College, where she played collegiate softball and was manager of girls’ basketball team, further developing the skills and leadership qualities that make her such a strong fit for this role. ​ Coach Tribby is no stranger to our program; she served as an assistant with the varsity team for the last two years and led our JV squad as Head Coach last year. Her passion for the game, her dedication to player development, and her commitment to fostering teamwork and sportsmanship have already made a lasting impact on our athletes. Off the field, Coach Tribby works for IU Health, where she holds a leadership position working Laboratory Science in the field of chemistry. Her professional experience reflects her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to lead with clarity and purpose. As a Lebanon resident, she is deeply invested in the success of our students and our community. We are thrilled to have Coach Tribby step into this role and continue building on the program’s strong foundation. Please join us in congratulating her and welcoming her as our new Head Softball Coach. We look forward to a great season ahead under her leadership! Presently, joining Coach Tribby on her staff this season will be returning coaches Mark Arington, Scott Hood, Karim Quinones and new this year will be former LHS Softball Coach Shane Britt, Jesse Wilhoite, Ashley Littlejohn and possible others to be named at a later date. Reminder, we will be hosting a meeting for all players and parents who can attend on Thursday night, December 18th, from 6:30–7:30 p.m. in the Lebanon Community Room #3 to introduce the new Head Coach and coaching staff. At this time, everyone will receive information about out-of-season conditioning and practices that will begin right after the holiday break. Go Tigers!
