Tigers News · Congrats LHS Tigersharks Swim Coach Craig Howe! Named Female Sectional Coach of the Year!


On Saturday the Lady Tigersharks traveled to Zionsville for the IHSAA Sectional Finals. The Tigersharks placed 3rd with 290 points, behind Zionsville with 557 points and Lafayette Harrison with 304. During the meet freshman Sydney Daisley set a new freshman record in the 500 with a time of 5:36.97 and the relay team of Cayleigh Dial, Lauren Gascho, Morgan Lawson and Rylee Miller set a new varsity record with a time of 2:52.14. Congratulations to Coach Craig Howe on being named Girls Sectional Coach of the year!

Highlights from the meet were:

Medley Relay team of Lauren Gascho, Summer Stogsdill, Lucy Gascho, and Cayleigh Dial finished 3rd.

Lauren Gascho, Morgan Lawson, and Lily Gascho finished 5th, 6th, and 9th in the 200 Free.

Lucy Gascho, Summer Stogsdill, and Sydney Daisley finished 6th, 10th, and 11th in the 200 IM.

Cayleigh Dial and Rylee Miller finished 10th and 11th in the 50 Free.

Lucy Gascho, Kennedy Gibbons and Brianna Martinez finished 5th, 10th, and 16th in the 100 Butterfly.

Rylee Miller, Cayleigh Dial and Lily Gascho finished 6th, 7th and 10th in the 100 Free.

Morgan Lawson, Sydney Daisley and Skylar Ritchie finished 4th, 6th, and 11th in the 500 free.

The 200 free relay team of Summer Stogsdill, Morgan Lawson, Lucy Gascho, and Rylee Miller finished 5th.

Lauren Gascho finished 4th in the 100 Backstroke.

Summer Stogsdill and Skylar Ritchie finished 4th and 14th in the 100 Breaststroke.

The varsity record breaking 400 free relay team of of Cayleigh Dial, Lauren Gascho, Morgan Lawson and Rylee Miller finished 2nd.
