IT TAKES A MIRACLE TO MAKE LIFE…

IT TAKES A DREAM TO DEFINE LIFE…

IT TAKES A LIFETIME TO THANK THOSE WHO HELPED YOU FIND YOUR WAY…

– Diane “Diggity Di” Robinson

Diane Robinson was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, teacher, Soldier, and Multiple Sclerosis fighter. She came from a family of four girls, but was blessed with three boys, all of whom got their father’s love for sports. She had no choice but to play along. She was clearly visible and audible on whatever floor or field that her kids competed. She became a staple and recognizable figure to all those associated with the teams they played on. She invested herself in her family and got a lot of joy from others. Diane was born and raised in Wabash, IN. She got her Bachelors and Masters in Speech and Hearing from Purdue University. She taught at Danville Community Schools in Danville, IN. She served in the United States Army, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Diane passed away on August 3, 2014. She left behind a family legacy including her husband Don, sons Scott, Ryan and Lance. She had a gift for giving and a heart for others. The only people she didn’t really like were referees. She never let anything stand in her way, even though she could not stand up herself. She fought a successful battle with Multiple Sclerosis that lasted more than 27 years and took most of her physical abilities. She loved shopping, jewelry, traveling, talking, going out to eat, watching movies with Don and getting autographs with Lance. She always had a positive attitude and grateful heart.
