Multiple Teams · LHS Cross Country Sagamore Conference Results


LHS Tigers Cross Country teams traveled to South Montgomery High School to compete in the Sagamore Conference on Saturday.

 

The Varsity boys’ team placed 5th out of 8 teams with 99 points.  Danville took 1st place with 56 points.  The boys’ team had two place First Team All-Conference. Leading the pack was Alex Brummett in 5th place with a time of 17:30, followed by Robby Muse-Myers in 6th with a time of 17:37.  Also scoring for the Tigers was Zachary West placing 27th with a PR time of 19:07, Camren Toole 28th, Hunter Smith 33rd, Rafe Crow 37th, and Aaron Gommel in 39th.

 

In the JV boys’ race Brady Hines 10th, David Bradley 11th, Cade Ping 14th (PR – 21:33), John Stillwell 21st (PR – 22:49), Phillip Betts 22nd (PR – 23:33), Mason McWaters 25th (PR – 24:53), Grant Patrick 26th, Noah West 27th.

 

The Varsity Girls’ team placed 5th out of 7 complete teams.  Leading the way and receiving First Team All-Conference was Emerson Haines placing 8th in a time of 21:58.  Receiving 2nd Team All-Conference was Katie Hasty in 11th with a time of 22:36. Rounding out the scoring for the Lady Tigers Riley Holland placed 26th, Kate Stanley 30th, Jessica Fischer 39th, Cayleigh Dial 40th, and Teresa Perez 42nd.

 

We will travel to Noblesville to compete in Sectionals this Saturday, October 7th.  Races will begin at 10:30.
