The boys’ team placed 2rd out of 12 complete teams with 88 points, behind 1st place Fountain Central (48 points). There were 124 runners competing in the boys’ race. Leading the pack in 3rd place was Alex Brummett with a time of 16:57 and Robby Muse-Myers in 4th (17:41). Rounding out the scoring for the night was Rafe Crow 24th with a PR of 19:28, Hunter Smith 29th (PR – 19:46), Aaron Gommel 30th (PR – 19:47), coming back from injury and running stronger was Camren Toole in 31st, and Zachary West 35th (PR 19:56). Also running for the night was Brady Hines, Peyton Rex, Cade Ping (PR 22:07), David Bradley, John Stillwell (PR 23:58), Grant Patrick, Phillip Betts (PR 25:26), Mason McWaters (PR – 25:41), Noah West, and Kade Cooper (PR 29:49).
The Lady Tigers take 3rd out 8 complete teams. Leading the girls’ team for the night was Katie Hasty placing 7th out of 71 runners, Emerson Haines 12th, Cayleigh Dial 32nd, finishing out the scoring for the Lady Tigers was Kate Stanley 40th, Riley Holland 50th, and Jessica Fischer 55th.
The Tigers will compete in the Eagle Classic in Brown County on Saturday.
