MISCUES COST TIGERS AGAIN IN LOSS TO CHARGERS
Lebanon pitching allowed only two earned runs in a 6 to 4 loss to North Montgomery Tuesday night at Memorial Park. Three errors and a passed ball were the culprits, as the Tigers dropped their fifth straight game to fall to 3 and 8 on the season and 2 and 6 in conference.
Senior Grant Johnson was the starter and took the loss. In four and two-thirds innings, he gave up five runs, only two earned, on five hits, four walks, and a wild pitch. Junior Haydn Parker came on in relief and surrendered an unearned run on one hit. Both pitchers struck out one
Charger starter Caleb Donahue was the complete game winner. His defense was not much help either, as only one of his four runs allowed was earned. He gave up six hits, a walk, and hit a batter. He fanned seven Tigers. Sophomore Justin Clary led the way at the plate with two hits and two driven in.
The re-match will take place Wednesday night in Linden, weather permitting. Game time has been moved up to 5:30 in the hope of getting it in.
