Meet Recap

The Tigers Cross Country team traveled to Clinton Central to compete in the Clinton Central Invite. The Tigers boys’ team placed 3rd for the day with 53 points, behind Clinton Prairie in 1st with 41 points, 2nd Clinton Central 50 points, 4th Rossville with 75 points, and 5th Tri-West with 130 points.

Leading the way with a strong race for the varsity boys’ team was Nathan Wire in 3rd place with a time of 17:08.12. Tommy Veerkamp followed in 4th (17:28.88), Robby Muse-Myers 8th (17:43.87), Alex Brummett 12th (PR 18:15.99), Kale Russell 26th (PR 19:26.73), Gabe Kassab 32nd (PR 20:23.94), and finishing the scoring for the Tigers was Avery Harmon in 33rd (PR 20:37.63).

In the JV boys’ race leading the Tigers was Peyton Rex finishing 3rd (PR 20:58.09), Charlie Dickison 4th (PR 21:31.74), Nick Nelson 8th (23:24.07), Rafe Crow 9th (23:39.27), and Grant Patrick (PR 25:01.01).

The Tigers boys’ and girls’ teams will travel to Southmont on Saturday, October 3rd, to compete in the Sagamore Conference.
