Girls Junior Varsity Tennis, Girls Varsity Tennis · Lebanon wins last regular season girls tennis match

Lebanon defeated Lafayette Harrison 4-1 tonight under unusual circumstances. The match was a continuation of a rainout. Unfortunately Harrison had to default #3 Singles and #1 Doubles prior to the match due team members not in attendance. Half way through the #2 Singles match Lexington Eiler had to default due to the flu. That left #1 Singles and #2 Doubles to finish the varsity match. Lebanon’s lineup had changed since the first of the year, but the Tigers were still up to the challenge. Sarah Curts at #1 won 6-4, 6-2. However #2 Doubles of Megan Stuteville and Shelby Dejka lost in a 3 set match. The junior varsity won 5-4. Sectionals start later this week where the Lady Tigers will be in action once again.
