The Lady Tigers played conference rival Tri-West Friday night and defeated the bruins by score of 68-50. Leading the tigers was Kristen Spolyar with 27 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals. Katie Curtis with 19 points and 7 assists, Aspen Davis 10 points 5 rebounds, Carly Greene 5 points 5 rebounds, Whitney Cosgray 4 points 5 rebounds, Kendra Yoder 2, Kate O’Rourke 1. The tigers are in action tonight at Heritage Christian. The tigers are 15-2 and 5-0 in conference.
The Lebanon JV girls basketball team won last night vs. Tri West 41 to 30. The tigers were led by Krista Marsh and Peyton Terrill who had 13 points each, Mallory Cast with 5 points, Devin Gossman 4, Mariah Allen – Kylee Reed – Abby Messenger all chipped in 2 points.
The Lebanon Men’s Basketball team improved their overall record to 9-2, and remain undefeated in the Sagamore Conference with a 53-37 victory over the Tri-West Bruins on Friday night. Early foul trouble kept the game close for a quarter, but the Tiger’s defense shut out the Bruins in the second quarter, and they never dug themselves out of that hole. Caleb Brannon led all scorers with 14 points and seven rebounds. Cord Barricklow put in 10 points, and Tre Comage added 8. Next up for the Tigers is a trip to North Montgomery on Friday, January 18th.
The Junior Varsity boys basketball team lost to Tri-West Thursday 40-28. After Trailing by 20 at halftime the Tigers played the Bruins even in the third quarter. The fourth improved to outscoring the Bruins 12-4. Improvement was shown in the turnover department but could not overcome the cold shooting on the night. The Tigers fell to 5-6 overall and 2-3 in conference play. Lebanon plays host to North Montgomery Wednesday night.
